Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 up for pre-order, can be yours for $399.99
Samsung announced its second generation Galaxy Tab devices quite a while ago, and now the 10.1″ model is available for pre-order.
There’ve been rumors circulating around that Sammy might have stopped the production of the tablet to equip the slate with a quad core processor, yet now we can say the information is incorrect.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a dual core chip clocking at 1 GHz, so no changes have been made here. Other specs haven’t been touched, either. These include 1 GB of RAM memory, a 3MP rear camera, a front-facing shooter for video chatting, and 16 GB of internal storage ( the 32 GB model will be available later ).
It hasn’t yet been mentioned which Android version the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be running, but hopefully it will come with Android 4.0 – if not, fingers crossed after the imminent Ice Cream Sandwich update!
Available for pre-order now, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is priced at $399.99 ( for the 16 GB model ) and should start shipping on May 13.
